Before two days of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Samba district, a major terrorist attack took place in Jammu. A bus carrying 15 personnel for their morning shift came under attack at 4:25 A.M. near the Chaddha camp. ASI SP Patil was killed and at least 9 others were injured in this gun battle between terrorists and the security forces.
4 terrorists, reportedly belonging to Jaish-e-Mohanmmad were killed. Security forces are still operating there. The police said that the terrorists were planning to attack in the city. The SOG and the CRPF have launched a joint operation with the CISF.
Earlier, on February 10, 2018, JEM terrorists attacked an army camp in Sunzuan. Five soldiers, four ultras and one civilian had lost their lives.
